ADAM MURRAY ESCAPE CLINIC OCT 2ND

Adam Murray was a 3xNCWA National Champion for the University of Toledo in 2006, 2007 and 2008 at 197lbs. His collegiate record was nearly perfect at 59-1. In addition to wrestling, he played water polo at Toledo.

Adam took bronze at the 2004 Ohio State High School Championships at 189lbs for Pickerington North High School. He finished his senior year with a 43-5 record with 24 pins.

Adam recently moved to Maryland (March 2011) and is excited to join the Kolat Wrestling coaching staff.

Adam will be demonstrating bottom technique, escapes and reversals.

DANNY WHITENAK CLINIC THIS SUNDAY

Danny Whitenak was a two-time Maryland state champion

while competing at Mt. St. Joe's and

finished his career with a 74-22 record

including 38-3 as a senior. Whitenak was a two-time MIAA

Tournament champion, along with finishing second at the

PowerAde Christmas Tournament as a junior and

third at the Walsh Ironman Tournament that same year.

Great camp today! NCAA Qualifier Coach Nick Bertucci from Purdue demonstrated set ups to hi C lift (the one Henry Cejudo used to win the 2008 Olympic gold medal) and a sweep single finish. Coach LaValley emphasized bottom work, constantly moving, change over technique with tripod knee slide, and stand and cut.

4 High School All Americans in the room today, Josh Llopez, Eric Friedman, Matt Gancayco, and Derek Wilson, all working hard with aspiring All Americans, preparing for Super 32 and the upcoming season.

Offering one day training tomorrow, 10-Noon; 1-3pm for $25. Single session only $15. Club members may train one session for free, both sessions for $10.
